I MIGHT NOT BE - BY IKOROMASOMA EMMANUEL

I might not be stinkingly rich,
Neither am I stinkingly poor,
I might not be the man you so wish,
But I love you for ever more.
I might not be the clouds in the sky,
Neither am I the moon in the east,
But am sure of the truth not the lie,
That you are the first on my list.

I might not possess the qualities in a man,
Neither am I the keeper of dove,
But I promise to do all I can,
To adore and worship you my love.
I might not be the tallest of the mountains,
Neither am I the shortest of all,
I might not be the cutest of the fountains,
But I will love you till I fall.

I might not be one that makes you happy,
Neither am I one that makes you sad,
You are not Juliet my sweet baby,
But the BLESSING that makes me glad.
I might not be the black or the blue,
Neither am I a failure or disgrace,
But I thank God I finally met you,
And I thank Him for this Grace.

I might not be your lily or the rose,
Neither am I the pain in your ass,
I might not be one of your foes,
But you are my highland lass.
I might not be the string in your gown,
Neither am I the mini in your skirts,
I might not be the king in your town,
But I am sure I like your shirts.

I might not be the prince that is charming,
Neither am I the smell of your cream,
Oh, let me be your prince charming,
And you always in my dream.
I might not be your snow and its flake,
Neither am I good in kisses and Romance,
I might not be the flowers by the lake,
But in Rome I will act like the Romans.

I might not be the tulip by the river side,
Neither am I the animal In the zoo,
But my love, you are my pride,
And am sure, I am your boo.
I might not be the church you attend,
Neither am I the honey in the bee,
But am never a man that pretends,
In your heart I ever want to be.

I might not be the rain or the sunshine,
Neither am I the taste of your fruit,
Like Dionysus, you're the sweetest wine,
From Ancient Greece root.
You are my world, the joy in my heart,
Our love will stay strong and evergreen,
Nothing, I mean nothing can set us apart,
For you are nothing but everything.
