THE BLUE ICE - BY IKOROMASOMA EMMANUEL

My Captain, My Captain
The skies are getting dark
And the tide is so rough
Moving backwards along
Darkling clouds in haste
Tells the reign is near.
Our swords are thirsty
And so are our guns
For the blood of the shores
That stood to be enemies.
We shall sail ruggedly in
Tidal scandanivian tides
Not with compass but
Via the eyes of Odin
The one eyed God.
Ahoc Captain! It is said
In the treasure chest not
All who echoes Ahoc
Have seen the neckedness
Of war and betrayals nor
Have had a romance with
The bitches of the sea.

My Captain, My Captain
It is better to stand and fight
Than to live without hope
Our hopes are anchored
On the sailing ship of Odin
My Captain, My Captain
Odin once echoed wisely
Too much capping are
For market women
And as such better
It is to maintain Omerta
Law of silence and let
The birds sing our praises
And the wind whistles it.
Where were you when
Men conquered battles
And lands with few numbers.
Where were you when
We drank blood with the
Skulls of our enemies as
Our swords refuses to
Enter its sheaths.

My Captain, My Captain
We have stood and fought
Battles and our names
Were written in the book
Of Odin who once echoed
It is not only the mummy
Water that enjoys the
Sweetness of the river
But also the Hulls that
Smouches it in time of war.
It was here I stood
On the shores of Denmark
Where I showed mercy to
A dying man dying
Today I stand to regrets
The mercy I showed
As the evil I fail to
Destroy today might
Hunt me tomorrow
Like the trumpet of hell
Beaconing me to hades.
My Captain, My Captain
Iceland is my Final
destination And if any sailor
Mumuhs they will be thrown
Overboard the ship as
The ship must sail to death.
Sotovos is the reward
For those who challenge
The orders of the captain.
Ahoc Captain!
We shall sail routes
Unknown to mere mortals
And less traveled by
Bastards and clients
And on the last days
We shall give account
Of how many lands,
Wives and shores we
Have conquered but
In all let not lusful lust
Outshine your morals
Ahoc Captain!
